    Founded in London

    Established as a Ghanaian banking presence in the City of London to serve trade between Africa and the United Kingdom.

  2. 1998

    Reauthorised as a UK bank

    Re-licenced as a fully UK-regulated bank, expanding trade finance and correspondent banking capability.

  3. 2012

    Pan-African expansion
